Inter have suffered but Inter are starting again Bergamo with the three points (3-2). Abused, Simone Inzaghi’s players were put in difficulty by Atalanta at the start of the game. Taken by the throat by the very high individual pressing of the Bergamasques, the Interists had the greatest difficulty in getting the ball out properly.
It is therefore logical that at the half-hour mark, the locals opened the scoring. Zapata got the better of De Vrij, who conceded the penalty, perfectly converted by Lookman (28th). But Inter were not defeated and on one of his rare incursions into the opposing camp, Dzeko took advantage of a clever deflection from Lautaro Martinez to equalize with an acrobatic recovery (36th).
Inter provisionally 4th
The Interists, carried by an ultra-realistic Dzeko, doubled the bet on the return from the locker room after a strong cross from Lautaro Martinez taken over by the Bosnian (56th). Stunned, Atalanta scuttled a little more, with the against his unfortunate camp of Palomino (61st).
The defender made up for it late in the game by reducing the score from a corner (77th) but it was too late. Inter, solid behind, used their experience to maintain their success and are provisionally fourth. Atalanta remains 6th, before Rome’s match against Torino (3 p.m. this Sunday).
