Badly embarked at the start of the season, Leicester added another defeat to their collection, the fifth in six Premier League matches, this Sunday on the lawn of Brighton (5-2). The Foxes had however opened the scoring very early, through the intermediary of the Nigerian, Kelechi Iheanacho (1st, 0-1), but Brighton quickly equalized on a header from Solomon March at the far post, deflected into the goal by Luke Thomas ( 9th, 1-1).
Moises Caicedo, well served by Enock Mwepu doubled the bet (14th, 2-1). Then, on a long ball from Youri Tielemans above the Seagulls defense, Patson Daka tied the two teams (32nd, 2-2). Upon returning from the locker room, Leicester conceded a third goal by Luke Trossard in the area (65th, 3-2) before a penalty from Alexis Mac Allister (71st, 4-2). The latter was once again decisive in added time with a free kick brushed into the right corner of goalkeeper Danny Ward. Leicester remain at the bottom, still looking for their first victory this season. Brighton are fourth.
