Esport – FIFA: Movistar Riders wins the Club World Cup

The Europeans shone this week at the Club World Cup in FIFA 22. By dominating the English pair Dan “Stingray” Ray and “Conkai” (Serious About FIFA), the Spaniard Andoni “Andonii” Payo and the Portuguese Diogo “tuga810” Pombo won the supreme title in two against two, this Saturday in Copenhagen. In the final, after drawing (1-1) in the first leg, the Movistar Riders duo snatched victory in the return (1-0), by the narrowest of margins. This is their first major trophy.

Very solid throughout the week, the Iberians will have lost only one match, anecdotal in a group stage which they flew over, before dominating the main draw. This world title is the logical continuation of their first place in European qualifications, a month earlier. In the final of the latter, the future world champions had dominated the French Corentin “Rocky” Chevrey and Lucas “DaXe” Cuillerier. Ambitious arrival in Denmark, the pair of Vitality however, left the group stage of this World Cup on Thursday, victim of a cruel scenario.
