Esport – Teamfight Tactics: the Chinese Xunge world champion

Ultra-dominant for a year and a half at international tournaments Teamfight Tactics, China once again confirmed its overwhelming superiority at the last Worlds, organized online this weekend, by winning a third trophy in a row. Of the three representatives of the country who managed to reach the final on Sunday, all finished in the top 4. The title went to the best of them, already crowned national champion a few months earlier: “XunGe”, ahead of the Japanese “title”, which managed to prevent the hat-trick.

For French speakers, however, the balance sheet is complicated. Two French were among the 32 players in the running to win the major title, but they failed to pass the course of the top 8, synonymous with the grand final. Mathieu “L3S Coco” Nencioni (Solary) finished in 14th place, whileEmre “Double61” Demirtas (Karmine Corp.), world champion in September 2020, placed 26th. The Tunisian Mohamed “Briks” Achraf Brik, 31st, was not more varnished.
