The French women’s and men’s teams, reigning Olympic champions, will be able to communicate again with their public at the start of the school year, with the major competitions of this winter and the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris in their sights.
Les Bleues will play two friendly matches against Germany in the east of the country, on Friday September 30 (9:10 p.m.) at the Arènes de Metz and Sunday October 2 (5:15 p.m.) in Nancy. For Coralie Lassource’s teammates, this will be one of the last stages in the preparation for Euro 2022 in Slovenia, North Macedonia and Montenegro, which was brought forward this year from November 4 to 20 due to the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
The Blues will start qualifying for Euro 2024
Guillaume Gille’s boys will perform in Poitiers, in the new Futuroscope Arena, on Thursday October 13 (9:10 p.m.) against Latvia. This will be the first day of qualifying for Euro 2024. The Blues will then travel to Padua to face Italy on Sunday October 2. The next big competition will not be long either: it will be the World in Poland and Swedenfrom January 11 to 29, 2023.
