Emmanuel Mayonnade, the coach of Metz, was voted best coach of the season in the Butagaz Énergie League. This year his team won the French Championshipthe Coupe de France and finished third in the Champions League.
This is the sixth time that Mayonnade has won this distinction: he had obtained this honor in 2010 when he trained Mios-Biganos, before being decorated four times with Metz (2016, 2017, 2018, 2019).
