HRC Honda wins Suzuka 8 Hours

The official Honda entered by the HRC and driven by the Japanese Nakashima and Takahashi and the Spaniard Lecuona won the Suzuka 8 Hours, the third round of the World Endurance Championship. It was Honda’s first victory on home soil since 2014. The number 33 beat the number 10 Kawasaki of the Haslam-Lowes-Rea trio.

Despite the absence of Sylvain Guintoli, injured, the Yoshimura-SERT Suzuki n°1 driven by the Frenchman Gregg Black and the Japanese Kazuki Watanabe, third in the race, performed well in the World Endurance Championship since it is the best-ranked of the machines participating in all the rounds, the next of which will be the Bol d’Or at Le Castellet on September 17 and 18, with the title being awarded at stake.
