Inter Milan signed a demonstration against Bologna (6-1) to relaunch in Serie A by overtaking both Atalanta Bergamo (5th), surprise in Lecce (1-2), and AS Roma (6th ), hooked by Sassuolo (1-1), Wednesday during the 14th day.

After the defeat suffered against Juventus (2-0) Sunday, the Interists were keen to bounce back and did so in style at San Siro against the team of Thiago Motta (13th). Led on a deflected shot (22nd), Simone Inzaghi’s players quickly equalized thanks to a sumptuous volley from Edin Dzeko (26th). Back in the saddle, they then rolled out, with a double from Federico Dimarco (36th, 48th), a header from Lautaro Martinez (42nd), a penalty from Hakan Calhanoglu (59th) and a final goal from Robin Gosens (76th).

Inter Milan temporarily takes a foothold in the Top 4, eleven points behind undefeated leader Naples all the same, tied on points with Lazio Rome (3rd), which hosts Monza on Thursday, and Atalanta (5th). Juventus (7th) can however go back to Inter on Thursday evening if successful in Verona.
