Italy dominate Samoa in their first test match

Italy are off to a perfect start to their test match campaign. With six tries scored, the Azzurri largely won (49-17) against Samoa on Saturday in Padua. Disciplined in defense and dominant in attack, the locals walked around facing their opponent of the day.

From the first half, the Italians showed their superiority in this encounter thanks to tries scored by center Juan Ignacio Brex and wingers Pierre Bruno and Monty Ioane. They were able to take a 28-0 lead at the break.

Back from the locker room, the Italians continued their demonstration. Samoa, in great difficulty, managed to register their first point in the 51st minute, thanks to a try scored by Ulupano Seutini. At the end of the match, the visitors recovered to score two more tries, but the gap created by the Italians was far too big (49-17).

Italy will meet Australia on November 12 and then South Africa on November 19.
