A week after having dismissed Steve Nash from office, the Brooklyn Nets are holding their coach for the rest of the NBA season. It is ultimately Jacque Vaughn (47), who has been acting since the departure of the Canadian technician. Boston Celtics coach Ime Udoka, currently under internal suspensionwas also mentioned.

Vaughn, an NBA professional for 12 years (including a stint with the Nets from 2004 to 2006, when they were based in New Jersey), had been an assistant coach in Brooklyn for six seasons.
