On behalf of the third day of La Liga, Sevilla FC dropped three points at the Mediterranean Games stadium in Almeria on Saturday evening (2-1). Torres had however opened the scoring for the Andalusian club by taking over with a powerful header the center of Telles (30th, 0-1). But Almeria did not admit defeat.
Before the break, Rekik headed the ball back to Pozo who launched Ramazani in stride. Dropped at the marking by Kouassi, the Belgian found himself facing the goalkeeper and crossed his shot on the ground to find the opposite side netting and equalize (42nd, 1-1). Back from the locker room, Robertone sent a cross into the box. Diverted by Rekik’s tackle, which prevented Kouassi’s intervention, the ball reached the far post where Sadiq only had to push the ball into the back of the net (55th, 2-1).
The incoming Isco, En Nesyri, Ocampos and Delaney will not have changed the result, despite a heavy strike from the Dane (79th). The Andalusians have still not won after three games and are temporarily in 15th place pending the other results of the weekend.
