The motorcycling world has been shaken by the disappearance of Mathis Bellon, a young French rider who died at the age of eight, a few days after being the victim of an accident during tests before a race in the Italian Speed ​​​​Championship , on July 22.

After falling, Mathis Bellon was hit by two motorcycles in his wake. Repatriated to Montpellier, he succumbed to his injuries after several cardiac arrests.

Fabio Quartararo, reigning MotoGP world champion, paid tribute to him on social networks by posting his photo and a message: “Rest in peace champion, my support to family and loved ones. »

Originally from Reunion, Mathis Bellon was a great hope for motorcycling. He arrived in mainland France in the spring and was taken care of by the AMSL Fréjus flight school.
