Mauro Icardi is not on the A list of twenty-five players that Paris Saint-Germain gave to UEFA for the Champions League group stage. However, this absence is not a surprise: PSG no longer counts on the Argentinian international center-forward, under contract until June 2024, and has served him since the beginning of July.
Icardi trains in a separate group and has never been retained by Christophe Galtier since the start of the season. Despite the different contacts he may have had with Turkish clubs, the former Inter Milan striker is still in Paris, even though he appeared on social networks on Friday in Miami with his wife and agent, Wanda Nara.
Juan Bernat and Sergio Rico in the list
Juan Bernat and Sergio Rico, who had not been selected by the capital club last season to participate in the C1, appear this time on the A list. The four players “trained at PSG” are Presnel Kimpembe, Alexandre Letellier , Lucas Lavallée and Kylian Mbappé (arrived in Paris at 18 and a half). Youngsters Warren Zaire-Emery, El Chadaille Bitshiabu and Ismaël Gharbi should be on List B, reserved for club youth.
