After having already driven in the Williams in Barcelona then the Mercedes at Paul-Ricard, Nyck de Vries, reserve driver of the German team, will have the opportunity to test a third F1 this season, next Friday during the first session of practice at Monza. The Dutchman, who does not despair of finding a starting seat in 2023, will drive in Sebastian Vettel’s Aston Martin for 60 minutes.
“I’m really looking forward to driving for Aston Martin F1, especially on a circuit as legendary as Monzacommented the 2021 Formula E world champion. This will be my third EL1 session of the season, and with a different third chassis. These opportunities gave me a fantastic perspective on how cars and teams work in F1. I hope to bring a new point of view to Aston Martin and to be able to complete a driving program which will be beneficial to everyone. »
