The Regulation formation of the Disciplinary Council of French Rugby (ex “Superior Council of DNACG”) sanctioned Carcassonne and Grenoble, two Pro D2 clubs.

The Isère club, current second in the Championshipwas given a withdrawal of five points, two of which were suspended for the 2022-2023 season, as well as a fine of 20,000 euros for “non-compliance with the regulatory provisions and decisions of the CCCP (Professional Championship Control Commission). »

USC received a suspended three-point withdrawal and a fine of 20,000 euros, including 13,000 suspended. “This sanction was pronounced on the grounds of “inconsistency and/or implausibility of the initial and/or updated budget”, and “non-compliance with the regulatory provisions and decisions of the CCCP””, is it explained in the official press release of the LNR.

Both clubs have seven days to appeal.
