PSG beat Gudme to claim sixth straight win in Europe

Proof by six for PSG. The Parisians won against Gudme (41-36) for their seventh Champions League match. This is the sixth consecutive victory in seven games for PSG handball in the most prestigious European club competition.

Not everything was easy for Raul Gonzalez’s men, especially at the start of the game when they struggled to set up their attacking game. Out of efficiency, they were logically punished by the Danes (4-8, 14th). Then the Parisians were able to take the measure of the opposing defense to pick up the scoreboard (16-16 at the break).

After the break, Nikola Karabatic and his teammates accelerated and dominated from the head and shoulders. They took control with a four-goal lead twenty minutes from time and never let them go (24-20, 40th). Better still, they hit the nail on the head and offered themselves a quiet end to the match, despite the XXL performance of the Danes Emil Madsen (7 goals) and Lukas Jorgensen (9 goals). On the Parisian side, in the absence of executives Elohim Prandi and Luka Karabatic, it was Luc Steins, Kamil Syprzak and Dainis Kristopans who distinguished themselves (7 goals each). Parisian goalkeeper Jannick Green had a monumental game with 17 saves on 51 shots suffered.
