PSG not worried by Porto in the Champions League

The streak continues for Paris, who didn’t quite add the way to their win over Porto on Thursday in the Champions League. PSG, favorites for this match on the sixth day of European competition, won by a narrow gap (32-30), after having scored up to seven goals in the second period (31-24 ).

Led by Elohim Prandi (11 goals), the Parisians especially struggled to take cover in the first half hour of play (17-15). The fault with the porosity of goalkeeper Andras Palicka (4 saves on 19 shots), supplemented on the return from the locker room by Jannick Green, more effective (7 out of 22).

Raul Gonzalez’s men gave themselves a good breath of fresh air by accelerating frankly (18-15 then 24-18). Unsurprisingly, they therefore granted themselves a fifth success in a row in C1, after their initial defeat at Veszprem (36-34), leader with a point ahead of his French runner-up.

Above all, since the defeat conceded in Toulouse on September 25 (35-27), Paris has not lost, and therefore remains on eight successes in a row.
