Stade Toulousain: Cyril Baille absent for a month

When Cyril Baille left after just over thirty minutes of play against South Africa (30-26), the fear of a relapse of his groin injury, which had kept him away from the field at the start of the season, was on everyone’s mind.

At a press conference, the coach Fabien Galthié had mentioned an inguinal hernia and a possible operation in stride. But the first medical examinations had invalidated the diagnosis. Cyril Baille had nevertheless not been able to hold his place with the Blues the following weekend against Japan (35-17).

Bail back for the Tournament

After having passed new medical examinations, which confirmed the first, Cyril Baille suffers from a hematoma in the adductors. The left pillar of Stade Toulousain could return to competition by the end of the year. It will normally be restored for the start of the Six Nations Tournament in early February where the fifteen of France will put its Grand Slam back into play.
