After three successes in a row last week, the Los Angeles Clippers were overwhelmed in the final by the Utah Jazz at home on Sunday (110-102). Paul George’s teammates (34 points) got stuck in the final five minutes conceding 18-6 to lose for the fifth time this season.
With this eighth success, Utah confirms its excellent and unexpected start (2nd in the west behind Phoenix). The Jazz relied on its backs, including Collin Sexton author of nine points (22 in total) in the last four minutes. Mike Conley and Jordan Clarkson added 17 and 23 points to the bill.
Nicolas Batum came off the bench (23 minutes) for 3 points (1 of 3 on shots), 3 rebounds, 1 block and 2 assists for the Clippers still deprived of Kawhi Leonard.
