The ZEvent is launched

As every year since 2017 (although it has rarely been on time), kick-off ZEvent was given this Friday evening at 6 p.m. on the Twitch channel of its main organizer, Adrien “ZeratoR” Nougaret. For more than 48 hours, around fifty streamers gathered in Montpellier for this “charity marathon” which brought together different communities – mainly French-speaking – from the world of streaming, video games and therefore esports.

Very present on Twitch, the discipline is particularly well represented this year: among other current or former professional players, commentators, club bosses, Sébastien “Ceb” Debs (twice world champion of Dota 2 with OG) and Nathan “NBK” Schmitt (double winner of Major on Counter-Strike), two of the biggest winners in French electronic sport, were invited for the first time.

For this “last edition” of ZEvent in this format according to its creator, donations will be donated to several dedicated associations in defense of the environment : Sea Shepherd, LPO, WWF, Time For Planet and The Sea Cleaners. Last year, the event, followed by several million people by accumulating the audiences of the various participants, raised more than ten million euros in one weekend for Action Against Hunger.
