He is the most anticipated man of the summer. In the mind of Luis Campos, Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar (27) has always been the priority target to strengthen the Paris rearguard. For nearly three months, the discussions have multiplied.
Al-Khelaïfi took the case in hand
Last week, the managing director of Inter Milan Giuseppe Marotta seemed to have put an end to the hopes of the PSG football adviser (“The club owner has expressed the desire not to be cajoled by PSG. I can say that Skriniar will stay with us”). But for a few hours, optimism has returned to the Parisian camp. The file, supported by the president of PSG Nasser al-Khelaïfi, has advanced. The discussions are considered positive.
Few figures have filtered through on the amount of PSG’s latest offer, but the leaders of Inter Milan are no longer so closed to the sale of the muscular defender to PSG. In Paris, we regained confidence. And the Italians no longer hide, in private, that they will possibly have to validate this deal by Thursday evening. With the increasing number of departures (Draxler at Benfica), PSG, if it manages to finalize Skriniar, could achieve a particularly complete transfer window.
