Utah’s Donovan Mitchell at Cleveland

The famous ESPN journalist, Adrien Wojnarowski, suddenly woke up the world of the NBA on Thursday. American Donovan Mitchell, Utah star guard, will leave his favorite franchise to join Cleveland. The Jazz would get three unprotected first-round picks in the deal (even a No. 1 would go to Utah) as well as two possible round trades with Cleveland. Finland’s Lauri Markkanen, American full-back Ochair Agbaji and point guard Collin Sexton are doing the opposite.

An exchange a priori favorable to Cleveland but which leaves a good possibility for Utah to rebuild a solid team in the years to come. The three-time All-Star was 25.9 points last season. Utah had been eliminated in the first round of the Play-offs by Dallas despite Mitchell (25.5 points on average over the series).
