Valencia GP winner Alex Rins: “It’s amazing to win for Suzuki’s last”

Alex Rins (Suzuki – winner), speaking to Canal+: “We end the season the way we deserve. For Suzuki’s latest, winning is truly amazing. I am very happy. This race was tough. I had to watch out for my rear tyre, which was starting to degrade. I am happy and proud. We had to attack all the way, not let go, it was a mental battle with my opponents. Able to attack without making mistakes. I saw the gap remain small, below the second. I could never relax. »

Brad Binder (KTM – 2nd), at the Canal+ microphone: “It was a great race. I was disappointed not to have won a race this year, and I really wanted to make it here. I fought with everything I had. I struggled in the first laps, then I found my rhythm and came back to the leaders. But I lost too much time at the start of the race. I thank the whole team. It wasn’t easy but we did everything we could. We worked hard, we fought with our means. »

Marc Marquez (Honda – abandonment), at the microphone of Canal +: “I wanted to be on the podium, but I have to take risks to get there. I had problems from the start of the race. The bike was slow on the straights. So I pushed hard to be on the podium. I took risks, and I accept the consequences. »
