In an interview with the Qatari national news agency QNA on Twitter on Wednesday evening, tournament chief Nasser Al-Khater indicated that Mexico-Argentina (November 26) was the match “most requested” of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar (Nov. 20-Dec. 18), followed by Saudi Arabia-Argentina on November 22. Both matches will take place in the Lusail stadium, the tournament’s largest venue with 80,000 seats.
Host country, United States, England, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, United Arab Emirates, France, Argentina, Brazil and Germany lead in ticket sales by country of residence , according to the governing body of world football.
The number of tickets available is 3.2 million, of which a third is reserved for sponsors and partners. FIFA announced last week that 2.45 million tickets have been sold for the first FIFA World Cup to be held in the Middle East and the Arab world.
