Zane Maloney won his first victory in F3, in Belgium on the Spa-Francorchamps track. The Barbadian was ahead of the Czech Roman Stanek and the Briton Oliver Bearman on the line this Sunday.
victim of a big accident the day before during the first race of the weekend, the rookie recovered perfectly to win after taking the lead on the 11th of the 18 laps of the race. An event marked by numerous incidents and in particular the abandonment of Frenchman Victor Martins, now third in the Championship.
A suspenseful end to the season
While there are still two events to be contested (at Zandvoort next weekend and at Monza in two weeks), four drivers stand in just five points ! The two neophytes, the Frenchman Isack Hadjar (only 14th on Sunday) and the Briton Oliver Bearman lead the Championship with 106 and 105 points respectively.
So follow Victor Martins at only two units (104 points) and the Monegasque Arthur Leclerc, the brother of Charles (101 points). Thanks to his second position on Sunday, Roman Stanek goes back to fifth place with 96 units on the clock.
